Chanel Rare 1987 Logo Scale Belt

An extremely rare Chanel Logo Belt from the Spring/Summer 1987 RTW collection titled 'New Chanel No. 5'. 

Designed by Karl Lagerfeld, this is one of the most important Chanel collections of his career as it also marked the launched of Chanel's most success ever perfume, Chanel No. 5. As seen on the runway, this belt was doubled up and wrapped around the model's arms and necks to be styled as chokers and bracelets. 

Features a large double C logo at the front, a series of gold 'scale' style plates layered to resemble armour, and gold rear buckle.

Condition: Good. Exterior metal scales and leather are in Very Good condition, interior leather has deteriorated due to age masking original Chanel stamp. Fully wearabe.
